Put down your phone and discover- Rocketry- at the Rocky Mountain Hobby-Expo October 27th & 28th at the Denver Mart.

Model rocketry was developed during the “space race” era as an alternative to the amateur rocket activity. Today, model rocket kits and motors can be purchased in almost every hobby shop and toy store. Kits are designed for all ages and all levels of challenge, from simple starter kits to complicated scale models.
Get started with rocketry at the show with our rocketry workshop and our Rocket Make N Take. These offerings are brought to us from our friends at HobbyTown Alamosa, Colorado’s Rocketry Specialists. The Make N Take will help you build your first rocket and give you a certificate towards a free motor and ignitor at a local scheduled launch. The Make and Take requires a $5 material fee and a parent to be present during the class. Space is limited, so sign up early at the show. Click here for video of a beginner model rocket launch.
